The Constant Change

Since I finished university, perhaps the only constant element has been the continuous management of change… There may have been moments of greater economic prosperity or less, situations of higher or lower demand for goods or services, challenging movements from competitors, the need to attract talent, legislative changes… but the only permanent element has been the change that these circumstances have entailed.

And perhaps my experiences have been:

  1. One must feel comfortable and even enjoy this situation in order to think properly and transmit positive vibes. In this sense, the perspective should be to analyze it more as an opportunity for improvement than as a problem.
  2. Planning is necessary:
    • Objectives and focus… no improvisations or sudden ideas.
    • Being realistic about the resources.
  3. The work plan involves specific individuals:
    • Clearly identified responsible persons.
    • Providing them with few but highly impactful indicators.
    • They are genuine and set an example.

And this skill is either genetic or can be improved or learned until one is an adult at 20 years old. If one doesn’t have it, they should choose someone else and focus on what they truly know how to do.

Messi as a goalkeeper would not have been the same.
